How do I uninstall an iPhone application? (from app store)?

Question by quatre707: How do I uninstall an iPhone application? (from app store)?
I downloaded the free iPhone application “Where” from the iTunes App store and it does not work correctly (same for everyone who has downloaded it),

I’d like to know how to uninstall this, and numerous applications and games i’ve downloaded since updating to iPhone 2.0. Can’t find it in the general settings anywhere…

When you customize your home screen-when u hold down on an app and they all start to jiggle- there is a little “x” that pops up by the new apps- click that and it will ask you if u want to delete it. After that though you need to uncheck those apps before you plug your Ipod into iTunes because it will just install them again.
To do this go to the Summary Page that pops up when your Ipod is plugged in and along the top and click “Applications” and unclick the ones you don’t won’t BEFORE plugging your Ipod in.

Good Luck! :)
