Apple has just added a Lightning to Micro USB adapter to its Apple Online Store. The new device, as its name suggests, allows Lightning-equipped iDevice owners to connect their mobile device to a Micro USB accessory, and can be yours for $ 19.00 (with shipping currently listed as “1-3 business days”).
Already, a number of adapters are available for the Lightning port: one is a Lightning to 30-pin adapter, and the other is a 0.2 meter cable version of the adapter, both of which are available for $ 29.00 and $ 39.00 respectively. However, if you think $ 19.00 is too much for the new Lightning to Micro USB adapter, an alternative (albeit unofficial) option is available online for under $ 10.
Of course, this accessory will only be of use if your mobile device rocks a Lightning port. Currently, Lightning-equipped iDevices include the iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad mini, the fifth-gen iPod touch, and the seventh-gen iPod nano.

NotiPad – the jailbreak tweak that promises to add a Growl-like notification interface to jailbroken iPads – is now available to download in the Cydia Store.
As reported by ourselves, a couple of days ago:
NotiPad promises to add a Growl-like notification interface to jailbroken iPads [...] Once downloaded and installed, the standard banner notifications Apple added in iOS 5 are replaced by pop-up notifications, as you can see in the above image.
Users can touch these pop-up, Growl-like notifications to open the respective application, or to dismiss the app in-question. You can also configure the jailbreak tweak from a dedicated pane within the Settings app.

GEVEY has recently made a hardware-based unlock solution for the iPhone 4S – GEVY Ultra S – available to preorder online, and should ship in early March.
In the past, GEVEY’s products have allowed users to unlock iPhone handsets quickly and easily, without having to jailbreak. The process, not to be confused with the iPhone Dev-Team’s software-based ultrasn0w unlock solution, involves using a SIM interposer with an iPhone handset which has the ability to “trick” the smart phone and remove its carrier-lock.
